Fabulous FACES

Artist and Owner Debra Lohr received her Art Education degree from the University of Illinois and proceeded to teach art full time for the next 12 years. In 1981 while at Downers Grove North, she was introduced to airbrushes and began her now 35 years of experience with the tool. She was able to return to Quincy to continue teaching art at Chaddock. Hoping to find a way to produce art while living in her home town, she began airbrushing T-shirts at the local mall, which led to county fairs and festivals. Face painting with airbrushes was still relatively new when she began airbrushing tattoos onto faces and arms more than 20 years ago.

Deb is the lead painter and balloon twister at Fabulous Faces, but all of the artists love entertaining children (and adults too of course!) We aim to make sure they enjoy their time with us.

It's all about having fun!

Yep--we get around. You can find the talented Fabulous Faces artists every Tuesday at Applebee's in Quincy for Family Night. You may have seen us at Quincy's Dogwood Festival or Gus Macker Tournament, maybe Barry Apple Festival, at Hannibal's Harvest Hootenanny, or you might find us painting at one of the many other fairs and festivals in this area. Fabulous Faces annually entertains at several major corporate picnics, school and church events. We like to stay busy!

Based in Quincy Illinois, Fabulous Faces is able to be keep "Small Town Prices", while their skill and quality will rival any in the state.
